Métier carefully selected 9ct gold as the foundation for their collection to ensure a more accessible price point into solid gold jewellery. They prioritize durability and affordability, creating pieces meant to stand the test of time. They embrace a circular approach to design, crafting jewellery that can be cleaned, repaired, and cherished for generations, avoiding the wasteful cycles of the fashion industry.

Their 9ct gold, consisting of 37.5% gold, mixed with a minimum of 45% silver and 17.5% other non-nickel alloys, strikes the perfect balance of durability and elegance.

Precious metals and stones are not indestructible. We recommend that you remove jewellery before actives such as sport, swimming, DIY or gardening. Sleeping in your jewellery is not advised, especially earrings with scroll backs or delicate items that could become misshapen, stretched or crushed. Avoid contact with chemicals such as those in perfumes, moisturizers, essential oils, chlorine, and others - especially when wearing jewellery made with enamel, mother of pearl, emeralds, opals or turquoise.  

While the silver alloy in Métier's 9ct and 14ct gold jewellery may cause tarnishing when exposed to chemicals or skin oils, regular cleaning is essential to maintain their radiant shine. Simply clean your gemstone jewellery with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and oil buildup. For a more thorough cleaning, use a mild detergent and a soft brush, such as a toothbrush, to gently scrub the metal and gemstones. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean, lint-free cloth. After cleaning, let the jewellery air dry and store it in airtight boxes or bags for impeccable care and lasting beauty. When not wearing your jewellery, store them separately to prevent scratches and tangling.
